GoldenTransfer Terms & Conditions

1. Service Provider

(“Golden Transfer”, “we”, “us”)

2. Scope of Services

We provide pre-booked chauffeur-driven passenger transportation, including:

  • Airport transfers

  • City-to-city rides

  • Hourly chauffeur services

  • B2B services (hotels, event agencies, companies)

  • B2C services (private customers)

Primary service country is Hungary. Cross-border rides across Europe may be arranged upon agreement and availability.

3. Key Definitions

  • Customer: person or company making a booking request.

  • Passenger/Guest: person(s) travelling.

  • Booking Request: request submitted via our website, email, phone or messaging.

  • Booking Confirmation: our message confirming availability and final terms (incl. final price).

  • Confirmed Terms: final route/time/class/price and other conditions stated in the Booking Confirmation.

4. Subcontractors

We may provide the ride using our own drivers/vehicles and/or subcontractors (partner transportation providers). Where a subcontractor performs the ride, we may share the minimum necessary booking details to enable the service.

5. Booking Process and Contract Conclusion (Manager confirmation + Customer acceptance)

  1. By submitting a Booking Request, the Customer submits an offer to book a ride.

  2. Any “we received your request” message is not acceptance and does not form a contract.

  3. We may send a Booking Confirmation containing the final price and key terms.

  4. The booking becomes binding and the contract is concluded only when the Customer expressly accepts the Booking Confirmation (e.g., by replying “CONFIRM/Yes” via email/WhatsApp or by using a confirmation button/link, if available).

  5. If the Customer does not confirm within a reasonable time, we may not be able to guarantee availability and may cancel the request.

  6. If the Customer proceeds with the ride (e.g., boards the vehicle), this will also be considered acceptance of the Confirmed Terms.
     

6. Prices, Currency, Taxes

  • Currency on the website and in Confirmations: EUR.

  • Prices shown on the website are indicative and may change due to service specifics (dispatch fee, stops, waiting, route changes, availability, etc.).

  • The final price is the price stated in the Booking Confirmation and accepted by the Customer.

  • For B2B, we can issue invoices and apply VAT (ÁFA) according to applicable rules.

7. Payment (No online payment)

We do not collect online payments on the website. Payment methods:

  • Cash on boarding

  • Bank card on boarding (POS terminal with driver, subject to technical availability)

  • Invoice (B2B) under agreed terms

If card payment is declined for reasons outside our control, the Customer must pay via another available method (e.g., cash), unless otherwise agreed.

8. Pickup Outside Budapest (Dispatch Fee)

If the pickup location is outside Budapest, a dispatch fee may apply based on distance from Budapest to the pickup city. This fee will be included in the Booking Confirmation.

9. Waiting Time, Flight Delays, Stops

9.1 Airport / Train Station Pickup

If a correct flight/train number is provided, we may track arrival information and reasonably adjust pickup timing.

  • Free waiting: up to 45 minutes

  • After that: EUR 20 per started hour

9.2 All Other Pickups (Address)

  • Free waiting: up to 20 minutes

  • After that: EUR 20 per started hour

9.3 Additional Stops / Waiting Requested by Customer

Stops and waiting during the ride are subject to feasibility and safety. Unless otherwise confirmed:

  • EUR 20 per started hour for additional waiting.

10. Changes to the Ride

Any change to pickup time, route, stops, passenger count, luggage or special requests may affect availability and the final price. Changes are valid only if confirmed by us (or agreed with the driver where applicable and safe).

11. Cancellation and Rebooking

11.1 Cancellation

  • Free cancellation is available if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the agreed pickup time.

  • If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before pickup, the Customer must pay 100% of the confirmed price (as compensation for reserved vehicle/driver capacity).

11.2 Rebooking (Rescheduling)

Rebooking is generally treated as a new booking. The original booking remains subject to the cancellation rules above.

12. No-Show (30/60 minutes)

A booking is considered a no-show if the Passenger/Customer does not appear and cannot be reached:

  • Regular address pickup: within 30 minutes after the agreed pickup time

  • Airport/train station pickup: within 6060 minutes after the agreed pickup time

In case of no-show, the Customer must pay 100% of the confirmed price.

13. Vehicle Class, Capacity and Luggage Policy

13.1 Vehicle class

Bookings are made for a vehicle class, not a specific model. Photos are illustrative. We may provide an equivalent vehicle; upgrades may occur at no extra cost if available.

13.2 Passenger capacity

The maximum passenger count depends on the booked vehicle class.
Important: each child counts as one passenger for seating and safety purposes.

13.3 Luggage and special items

The Customer must accurately declare luggage and special items (e.g., wheelchair, stroller, sports equipment) during booking.
If the declared luggage/passenger count exceeds the safe capacity of the booked class, we may:

  • offer a larger vehicle (extra charges may apply), or

  • refuse the ride if safe transport is not possible.

For safety reasons, luggage must not be placed on passenger seats or in a way that blocks aisles/exits.

14. Child Seats and Minors

Child seats/boosters are provided only if requested in advance and subject to availability.
If required safety equipment is not available, the driver may refuse the ride for safety reasons.

Unaccompanied minors may be refused unless specifically agreed in advance and permitted by law.

15. Passenger Conduct, Safety, Prohibited Items

Passengers must comply with traffic safety requirements and driver instructions.

  • Seat belts must be worn where required.

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle.
    We may refuse service or end the ride if Passenger behaviour poses safety risks or causes serious disturbance.

The following items are prohibited (non-exhaustive) unless lawfully permitted and safely secured:

  • hazardous or flammable materials,

  • toxic or radioactive materials,

  • items that may endanger others or damage/contaminate the vehicle,

  • weapons unless legally permitted and properly secured in a locked compartment where applicable.

16. Lost & Found (Items Left Behind)

We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle. If we recover an item, we may assist with return at the Customer’s cost (courier/postage/handling), subject to feasibility.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside reasonable control (severe weather, road closures, border restrictions, major incidents, government actions, etc.). We will make reasonable efforts to inform you and propose alternatives where feasible.

18. Complaints Procedure

Complaints should be submitted in writing to info@goldentransfer.eu within 14 days after the ride.
Please include: date, pickup/destination, passenger name, and any booking reference.
We aim to respond within a reasonable time and may request additional information.

19. Website Use (Prohibited Uses)

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • interfere with site security or functionality,

  • attempt unauthorized access,

  • upload malicious code, spam, or fraudulent requests.

20. Governing Law and Language

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
The legally binding version is Hungarian (HU). Other language versions are informational only.

21. Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
